How can I upload and manage SSL Certificates?
To upload and manage SSL certificates, follow these steps:
Log in to the Medianova Cloud Panel using your username and password.
Navigate to CDN → SSL Management from the left menu.
To add a new SSL certificate:
Click “Add New SSL”.
Choose a method (Paste, Upload, PFX, or Extract from Domain).
Fill in the required fields depending on your method.
Click “Add New SSL” to complete the upload.
To manage existing SSLs:
Use the Edit option to rename the certificate.
Use the Delete option to remove it after confirmation.
How can I use Free SSL?
To use Free SSL via Medianova, follow these steps:
Log in to the Medianova Cloud Panel at cloud.medianova.com.
Navigate to “CDN → SSL Management” from the left menu.
Click on the “Add New SSL” button.
Select the “Free SSL” option.
Fill in the required details:
SSL Name: Enter a name for the SSL certificate.
Wildcard Option: Select this option if needed.
Domain: Select the relevant domain.
Click the “Add SSL” button.
Follow the instructions for Let's Encrypt domain verification.
Click the “Confirm” button to complete the process.
Once completed, the Free SSL installation will be successful. For further instructions on using this SSL in your resources, refer to the related documentation.
What are the differences between “SNI” and “Shared SSL”?
SNI (Server Name Indication): This option allows you to use your own SSL certificate uploaded via the panel for a specific CDN Resource.
Shared SSL: If you don’t have your own SSL certificate, Medianova provides a shared SSL option that can be used for secure connection
Can I edit an uploaded SSL certificate?
Yes. When editing, you will be given two options:
Edit SSL Name: Allows you to rename the existing certificate.
New SSL: Replaces the selected certificate with a new one. Use the appropriate option based on whether you want to rename or fully replace the SSL.
How do I delete an SSL certificate?
To delete an SSL certificate:
Go to “CDN → SSL Management”.
Click on the “Delete” option next to the certificate.
Confirm the action in the pop-up window that appears.
What is a Private Key, and why is it important?
The Private Key is a critical part of the SSL certificate that ensures secure communication. It is based on asymmetric encryption and must be kept secret:
