Policy

At Medianova, we are committed to ensuring that our billing processes are clear, fair, and transparent. This Billing Policy outlines the procedures for subscription management, billing cycles, and payment processing for our services.

1. Product Packages and Subscription Options

1.1. Product Packages

Medianova offers the following product packages:

  • Starter: Ideal for small businesses and individuals aiming to establish a professional online presence. This package provides essential tools and features to build and manage a basic digital footprint, including core hosting services and standard performance optimizations.

  • Growth: Suitable for businesses experiencing growth and in need of advanced security and performance features. This package enhances online capabilities with improved resources and tools that support expanding operations and increasing web traffic.

  • Enterprise: Designed for large enterprises requiring a comprehensive suite of security, performance features, and premium support. This package offers a robust solution with extensive resources to meet the complex needs of large-scale operations.

  • Free Trial (30 Days): Ideal for personal projects and non-critical business operations, this package offers a 30-day free trial period. It provides temporary access to our core features, allowing users to evaluate our services before committing to a paid subscription.

1.2. Subscription Options

Each package is available with both monthly and yearly subscription options.

  • Monthly Subscriptions: For monthly subscriptions, billing occurs at the beginning of each month. The first payment covers the initial 30 days from the subscription start date, with subsequent charges automatically applied on the same day each month.

  • Yearly Subscriptions: For yearly subscriptions, billing takes place on the first day of each year. This option covers services for a full year and is managed with yearly payments.

1.3. Add-On Packages

We offer several add-on packages to enhance your service experience:

  • Image Optimization & WebP: This service provides high-quality image resizing, compression, and conversion to WebP and AVIF formats on the fly. Pricing starts at $20 per month, with additional usage-based plans available to accommodate varying needs.

  • Stook Object Storage: Our object storage solution offers fast and reliable cloud storage for all your data with an S3-compatible API. It is priced at $10 per month with an additional cost of $0.03 per GB. Notably, there are no egress charges associated with this service, making it a cost-effective choice for your data storage needs.

The billing periods for add-on packages are aligned with the billing periods of the primary service packages. For example, if your invoice date is March 15 and you purchase the Image Optimization&WebP package on March 1, the invoice created on March 1 will include the cost for the Image Optimization package from March 1 to March 15. The subsequent invoice on March 15 will cover the costs for the Product package and Image Optimization package from March 15 to April 14.

2. Invoice and Payment Details

2.1. Invoice Date

The date you initiate a paid plan or add-on service determines both the start of your billing period and your invoice date. For instance, if you upgrade your plan on January 10, all future charges will be billed on the 10th of each month. Both dates are calculated using UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).

2.2. Package Transitions

3. Payment Methods

All payments must be made via credit card. You can add or update your credit card information in the "Payment Info" section of your account. Keeping your payment details up-to-date is essential to ensure uninterrupted service.

3.1. Recurring Subscription Terms

By clicking “Enable” you agree that you are purchasing a continuous month-to-month subscription which will automatically renew. The price of your selected subscription plan level and/or add-on(s) will be billed to your designated payment method monthly as a recurring charge, unless you cancel your subscription(s) through your account dashboard before the beginning of your next monthly billing period. You will be billed for the full monthly period in which you cancel, and no refunds will be provided. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to a minimum one-month purchase obligation.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1. Subscription Cancellation

You can manage your subscriptions and cancellations through the "Billing -> Subscriptions" menu. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and no charges will be incurred for subsequent periods. No refunds will be provided for unused services prior to cancellation.

4.2. Refunds

In case of issues or dissatisfaction with our services, please contact our customer support team. Refund requests will be evaluated based on the type and duration of the service used. Generally, refunds for used services are not provided.
