What's New

Network Expansion

New PoP locations deployed across multiple regions to improve global performance and reduce latency:

  • South America: São Paulo, Lima, Bogotá

  • Oceania: Australia

  • Pakistan: Rahim Yar Khan

  • MENA: Iraq, Lebanon (GDS, Zina), Jordan (Umniah), Egypt (Etisalat), Iraq (Najaf)

Stook Object Storage Analytics enhancements:

  • Detailed traffic, request, and content usage analysis

  • Time-based trend tracking and traffic source visibility

  • Unified monitoring for CDN, GPU, Security, and Storage via Medianova Control Panel.

Stook Advanced Permissions:

  • Fine-grained access control (e.g., GetObject, PutObject, DeleteObject)

  • Extended authorization capabilities beyond basic read/write

  • Simplified credential management

Introduction of Large Streaming platform:

  • Unified streaming and Large platform architecture

  • Improved performance and stability

  • Built-in failover support

  • Advanced Origin Management for streaming:

    • Routing rules based on path, URI, or file extension

    • Dedicated backup origins

    • Automatic failover support

Improvements

  • Configuration deployment performance significantly improved:

    • End-to-end deployment time reduced from 5–7 minutes to ~1 minute (~85% faster)

    • Per-machine update time reduced from 4–6 minutes to ~20 seconds (~93% faster)

  • Improved traffic routing efficiency across newly deployed PoPs, resulting in better delivery performance

Fixes

  • No major fixes reported in this release

Upcoming Changes

  • New WAF engine with integrated ML/AI capabilities

  • Transition to a next-generation PostgreSQL-based Origin Shield infrastructure

  • Gradual deprecation of the current live streaming architecture
