# Edgesight

Learn how Edgesight provides tools for accessing, exploring, exporting, analyzing, and monitoring CDN traffic data.

Edgesight includes **Instant Logs**, **Logpush**, **Analytics**, and **Alerts**. These capabilities support different log workflows, from inspecting individual CDN requests to delivering log data to external systems and monitoring traffic through dashboards and alerts.

You can access Edgesight from the [Medianova Control Panel](https://cloud.medianova.com).

## Edgesight Products

### Instant Logs

**Instant Logs** provides a searchable view of CDN request logs within the Medianova Control Panel. Logs become available within seconds after requests are served.

You can use Instant Logs to:

* Search and filter request logs.
* Inspect individual requests and their captured fields.
* Analyze request volume and field distributions.
* Export filtered results in CSV or NDJSON format.
* Explore logs from Medianova, Cloudflare, and Akamai through a normalized schema.

Instant Logs can display multiple CDN sources on the same timeline and apply the same filters across supported sources.

* **Traffic analysis:** Examine request volume, status codes, cache behavior, and other CDN traffic characteristics.
* **Log delivery:** Send CDN logs to external storage or log processing systems.
* **Historical analysis:** Use dashboards to examine traffic and performance trends over longer periods.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://clients.medianova.com/products/edgesight.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
